Why is clean living important?
You're here so I probably don't have to tell you this but just in case, the short answer is:
because our bodies can only handle so much and once they get overwhelmed with toxins, we start to feel the negative effects of that and these symptoms can range in severity.
The long(er) answer is that our bodies were made to naturally detoxify themselves using our many detoxification pathways. However, as mentioned above, these pathways can only handle so much. And since we are being bombarded with toxins in our food, in our water supply, in our air and through the things we put on our bodies, it's our responsibility to try and decrease our exposure so our bodies can go back to operating optimally.
Chronic exposure to harmful toxins has been linked to inflammation, hormone issues, decreased immunity and chronic diseases such as asthma and COPD. The stats are endless as are the negative effects, but it's time now that we take back our power and use our voices by choosing to only purchase products that are truly healthy for us and our planet.
Once we learn what to look for, what to avoid and how to make more informed choices, it’s easy to live healthier and more simply.

Hi, I'm Katie
I am a lifelong learner and a certified holistic health coach.
I am passionate about clean living and “doing better once we know better” in all areas of our lives. But I also know how overwhelming it can be to make the necessary changes to do so, especially when the choices seem endless!
Add to that the incessant and often misleading marketing we are constantly exposed to and it’s a recipe for staying stuck and overwhelmed.
I was paralyzed with indecision and had no idea how to start.
I also spent countless hours trying to educate myself and find companies that i could trust but that also provided effective and affordable products. As a result, I ended up returning half of the things I got because i wasn’t able to experience them in person prior to purchasing. I needed someone to guide me through the process and I needed to learn what to quickly look for in order to narrow down products that didn't align with my beliefs.
